Sit in the bath, legs spread wide, until the water has cooled. The acidic nature of vinegar will help to neutralize the alkaline condition that causes vaginal itching.
Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil also has antibacterial function. You can use tea tree oil on a tampon. First, cover the top half of the tampon with a lubricant, then add a few drops of tea tree oil onto it, lastly insert the tampon into the vagina. The purpose of the lubricant is to prevent the tea tree oil from sipping into the tampon. Alternatively, you can buy ready-made tea tree oil pessaries. Adding 10-12 drops of tea tree oil to a warm bath is also a good idea to relieve BV-related vaginal symptoms.
